Success stories
In 2010, the EU Directive on consumer credit was transposed in Romania after years of debates. In our lobbying collaboration with the National Authority for Consumer Protection, the Romanian Parliament adopted the law with a higher level of protection than in the Directive, including stronger information obligations, a prohibition post-contractual changes and application to a wider array of contracts - including mortgage credit.
