The 2015 Rugby World Cup kicked off last Friday. Regrettably, due to territorial restrictions, not all European rugby fans will have the chance to watch all matches of their favourite team streamed online.

Broadcast rights have been granted to only 19 EU Member States which means consumers in some countries have no access whatsoever to authorised streaming sources in their country and are unable to access online streaming services in other Member States.

We consider these anti-competitive restrictions are against single market principles and have asked the European Commission to investigate this practice.
