On Thursday May 14th, Didier Reynders, Commissioner for Justice and Consumers, gave a video address during BEUC’s General Assembly.
In his speech, Commissioner Reynders outlined the importance of the work of BEUC and its members to support consumers in these difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also reminded that consumer protection must be upheld in the current crisis.
In the longer perspective, Commissioner Reynders said that he would like to ensure that consumer policies reflect the profound changes that the pandemic has in our economies and societies.
