If electric cars are to move from the sidelines into the mainstream, they must also be the convenient option. Where can we charge our cars? How can we pay at charging points? And are prices for on-the-go charging comprehensible and comparable?

In this 2019 brochure, we detailed what’s needed to make electric car charging convenient for drivers across Europe. Our full position paper is available here. We released this paper and brochure ahead of a reform of EU charging infrastructure legislation, completed in 2023 and which took on board many of BEUC’s recommendations.
