The Lithuanian Consumers Alliance, established in 2012, groups together 10 consumer associations. Members of the Alliance are active consumer associations such as the Lithuanian Consumer Association, Lithuanian Consumer Union, Consumer Rights Protection Centre, Lithuanian Association of Bank Customers, the Lithuanian Citizens Advice Union, National Association of Financial Services Consumers, Association ‘For Honesty in Banking’ and others’. The main goal of the Alliance is to represent Lithuanian consumers’ interests at both at national and international level in governmental institutions, businesses and non-governmental sectors.

Success Stories
  • Participation in preparing and enacting legal acts concerning the consumer rights protection and presentation of suggestions how the consumer rights protection system could be improved
  • Members of the Alliance take part in various working groups created by the governmental institutions
  • Project-related work: providing training, organising collective purchase campaigns, group legal actions etc.
  • Consumer awareness and education across the country
