Register to BEUC event on EU copyright reform

BEUC is organising a conference at the European Parliament about the EU copyright reform on January 27, 2016, together with authors associations1. MEP Pavel Svoboda, Chair of the Legal Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, is hosting the event.

The conference aims at bringing together authors and consumers to start an open dialogue and exchange views about authors’ and consumer rights in an online environment. The debate will focus on key issues including copyright law and freedom of expression, the right to information and to access culture, authors’ remuneration, online intermediaries and the copyright value chain.
