ASUFIN

About

ASUFIN is a consumer association founded in 2009 to the protection and defence of the financial user. ASUFIN is member of the Financial Literacy Programme of the Bank of Spain and the CNMV. It develops, among others, financial and digital education programs, over-indebtedness and responsible lending, housing, insurance, sustainable investment and finance within the framework of the 2030 agenda. ASUFIN is member of consultative groups in European Institutions as the EBA, the ESMA or the FSUG in DGFISMA. It is also member of non-profit organisations like Finance Watch, Alastria, BEUC, DEA and Spainsif.

 

Success Stories

- 2021 Award for the Best track record in the development of the Financial Education Plan by Bank of Spain and CNMV.
- ASUFIN participated in the signing of the protocol to improve banking care for the elderly promoted by the Spanish government in 2022
- 20 Collective redress on progress on financial issues like mortgages, revolving cards, Fx Loans, etc.
- More than 10,000 claims that have led to the recovery of 157,782,884 euros for our members in the last 7 years
