Euroconsumers (Test-Achats/Test-Ankoop, OCU, Altroconsumo, DECO) launched a collective action against Facebook for not respecting the data protection law and the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive. They will represent all Facebook users (and not just the Cambridge Analytica victims) and they will claim a compensation that should be no less than 200 euro per user. They want consumers to become masters of their data and be compensated when misused.
