As Europe looks to boost innovation and competitiveness, what role does privacy play in building consumer trust and economic growth?

Join us on 30 September for a presentation of the results of a new study on the economic benefits of privacy and data protection, commissioned by BEUC and carried out by Assembly Research.  

The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A exploring the future of EU data protection rules and moderated by BEUC Director General, Agustín Reyna.  

Confirmed speakers include Renate Nikolay, Deputy Director General of DG Connect, Marina Kaljurand, Member of the European Parliament for S&D, Dr Gabriela Zanfir-Fortuna, Vice President of Global Privacy at the Future of Privacy Forum, Ursula Pachl on behalf of noyb and a keynote from Wojciech Wiewierowski, European Data Protection Supervisor.
