Bulgarian consumers to have easier access heat pumps for year-round comfort

This week, the Bulgarian consumer association (BNAAC) launched its collective purchase campaign for air-to-air heat pumps as part of the CLEAR-HP project.

Heat pumps are gaining popularity in Bulgaria and have become the cheapest way of heating homes in Bulgaria. The campaign offers six air-to-air heat pump models that provide both cooling during the current hot summer days and efficient heating for the coming winter. In other words, with a switch to a heat pump, one can replace both a gas boiler and an air conditioning system.

“Consumers often don’t realise that a budget air conditioner ends up being much more expensive in the long run, due to higher energy consumption and a shorter product lifespan. This, combined with the overwhelming variety of brands and models, makes them feel uncertain. Through this campaign, we aim to help them make a confident and informed choice and enjoy greater comfort at home with lower costs,” said BNAAC’s Executive Director Executive Director, Bogomil Nikolov.

Bulgarian consumers can now sign up for the campaign here. The registration is free of charge. Registered participants will receive all the necessary information of the advantageous offer before making any purchase decision, along with access to a whole package that includes consumer support and workshops throughout the purchase and installation.
