Consumer PRO+

2026 - 2029

Consumer PRO+ is about boosting professionals in consumer protection. More precisely, it is a project that aims to build the capacity of consumer organisations and professionals active in consumer policy across Europe, helping them in their day-to-day work to better protect and inform consumers.

BEUC is proposing a broad training catalogue covering a wide range of topics. Through the expression of interest, consumer professionals can help shape the project by identifying their areas of interest and benefit from free training opportunities developed in response to their needs.
Consumer PRO+ is an initiative of the European Commission, running for three years as of March 2026. The project is implemented by BEUC – The European Consumer Organisation, the umbrella organisation representing national consumer groups at EU level, with extensive experience in strengthening the capacity of the consumer movement across Europe.

Please check this page for more information.

Based on an expression of interest, BEUC will develop different training opportunities for the consumer professionals including e-learning courses, workshops, and practical learning materials. The project will also support knowledge sharing and networking among consumer policy professionals across participating countries.

For more information, please contact the BEUC team at info@consumer-pro.eu

Consumer PRO+ primarily targets professionals from consumer organisations, European Consumer Centres and consumer protection authorities.

Consumer PRO+ is also relevant for other professionals working on consumer-related issues, including researchers, NGOs, practitioners and public authorities working with consumers on topics covered by the project.

Participation is open to organisations and professionals based in the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein as well as any other countries joining the Consumer strand of the Single Market Programme during the project.
